We saw a few splashes of color in the jewelry at last year’s Golden Globe Awards, more than in the past. And since then, color has become even more popular, with celebrities either opting for colored gemstones or wearing jewelry fashioned from yellow gold (like the Neil Lane earrings Perrey Reeves wore, shown here). We’ve seen more jewelry made from a combination of yellow and white gold in the past few years, too. Will the trend to colorful styles continue at this Sunday’s Golden Globes? I hope so — diamonds and platinum are gorgeous, but it’s nice to see celebrities stretch their styles in new directions.
