Bridesmaid Bracelets

I love the uniform quality of ready-made chain, but sometimes it’s lovely to hand-craft a piece of jewellery using nothing more than a length of wire, pearls and some tools. It takes a lot of time and concentration, but it’s also very rewarding.

It’s also nice to know that you’re using all-precious materials to make something. This bracelet uses solid .925 silver, freshwater cultured pearls and a gorgeous little rock crystal dangle. It’s softly faceted to catch the light and makes for a cute little dangle to play with.

The clasp is from Bali and is made of solid silver. I was lucky enough to go and pick this clasp up, as part of an order, in Indonesia last year. Well we all have those boring business trips we are obliged to go on!
